Brussels is not only the capital of Belgium, but the heart of Europe. It may be a small city, but the beauty and vibe of it definitely will make your trip memorable! Many parks, cobble stone lanes, lots of waffle spots, and thousands of beers (and the best in the world),… so many reasons to spend a couple of days here!

Here are a list of must-do’s when in Brussels, straight from our very own team’s recommendations! Now, it cannot get more local and personal than that, can it?
Belgica
Recommended by Jocelyn from the SERRA team
The atmosphere of Belgica is so vibrant and cosy, both indoors during winter and outdoors on the terrace during the summer! And sometimes, there’s live music. The bartenders, owner and bouncer are also very friendly.
Au Bassin
Recommended by our Sales Manager Mathijs
So many beers, so many happy faces, and a cosy rustic vibe! It’s a great bar in the centre for meeting friends and colleagues, visited by locals and expats!
Colonel
Recommended by Nathalia from our Front Desk team
They have the best steaks on display, and the service is pretty great too!
Ricotta & Parmesan
Recommended by Mohammed from the SERRA team
The best restaurant in the centre if you love Italian food! Their pasta with scampi is something I go back for again and again.
Park Léopold
Recommended by Alessia from our Front Desk team
I like to hang out here on sunny days with friends, a picnic blanket and beers! It’s also quite nice for families with children since they have a separate section for it!
Park Royal
Recommended by our Groups & Events Coordinator, Guillemette
I love being outdoors, especially when the weather’s good! Park Royal is the perfect spot on any day, warm or cold. There is a kiosk for food & drinks, and some benches with lights hanging from the trees above. So, they evenings are really nice too!
Frietland
Recommended by our Front Desk Manager, Rosario
When you’re living in the land of fries, it’s impossible to not find great fries at every nook and corner! But for me, Frietland is my favourite. The Mitraillette (their speciality) is a must try. Imagine fries on French bread, loaded with meat!
Gaston
Recommended by our Marketing & Events Manager Tulsi
There’s nothing quite like sitting by the water at Place Saint Catherine and having a scoop (or two) from Gaston! So many interesting options! It’s a cute little place that is always busy, and there’s a reason for it! They have waffles and other desserts too.
Pascalino
Recommended by our Reservations Coordinator Cédric
Every weekend my kids eagerly wait for me to take them to eat waffles at the orange food truck – Pascalino! It parks in a couple of places, such as Mont des Arts, Place Poelaert or the entrance of Park Royal. Of course I love them too!
